Cuba’s Pinar del Rio province is known for producing some of the best tobacco in the world. During your visit, you’ll get to stop at a cigar factory and learn about the manual process of cigar production. You’ll continue the journey to Viñales Valley, home of the oldest geological formations in Cuba with distinctive limestone karst and a valley with a unique landscape of hills and palm trees. This wonderful place with a slow and relaxed life rhythm never stops to surprise visitors.  

As you make your way into Viñales, you will visit a lookout point overseeing the valley, a place listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll get to witness the astonishing El Mural de la Prehistoria (Prehistory Mural), a large-scale painting on the side of a hill describing the evolution of mankind. You’ll visit La Cueva del Indio (The Indian Cave), where you’ll walk through subterranean paths until to reach a subterranean river stream. Here you’ll board a boat to reach the other side of the mountain coming through the subterranean river. Before returning to Havana, you’ll stop for a delicious traditional lunch and have time at leisure to hike and appreciate our nature.
